How to add multiple physical/store addresses on facebook page? (5 posts)

  • Don’t know if any fellow mate here knows if we can add more than one store/physical address on a facebook page. For example: If a restaurant has two branches in two different location of the city, say for example in different suburbs, then is it possible to add two address (actually second address only, as the first branch address is already added at time of page creation) on the same page so that visitors can check-in to any of the two locations from the same page. I do feel there is no such way and you have to create a separate “place” page for the main page. I also suggest to create this second page and to mention the first page in the about section of this second page.

But would love to learn your insights on this.

  • Hi Moin,

I found this discussion http://www.insidefacebook.com/2011/07/11/parent-child-corporate-local-locations-pages-places/ but are not sure it has been released. Also there are apps that you can use to list the locations on your page.

Here is a recent article with a number of examples http://mashable.com/2012/05/17/facebook-page-businesses/

    Warm regards,Erno

  • Hi Moin.

Although I have not used it I understand that ShortStack has this feature.

  • Facebook has said that this feature will roll out for more users, @moinshaikh but it hasn’t so far.  Right now big businesses such as Home Depot, Starbucks, Macys and places  like that have “multi-place” checkin.  But it’s not available for most.  I know that it is sorely needed!  There are apps like Shortstack and others that can list all your locations but they won’t aggregate the checkins.

  • Thank you for your valuable guidance! Seems like Shortstack is the perfect deal for now.@ernohannink @virtualgina @andrea-vahl
