Thanks Andrea, I went to your site but couldn’t see the powerpoint you meant (but then it is early here and I only had a quick look).  If you think this site is Ok I will try again. Can I post to my secret page?  It seems to only let me go to may main page.Another thing I was uncertain about is it didn’t seem to let me share to FB unless I had it as a public document – which I don’t really want if I can avoid it.  When I ticked ‘private’ the ‘share’ button went away.

I have really developed a love of FB but there seems to be a number of limitations to functions that is says it has – such as loading of documents, videos etc.  I have also worked out how to sotp people sharing and tagging photos but I would really like it if they got rid of the ‘download’ button.  I know nothing is ever completely secure but we don’t need to make it that easy really do we????

I am in the process of getting the secret page set up for my parents (i’m a pre-school) to access photos and given that group emailing seems to cause difficulty now adays unless u pay for a service from the telco I thought this might work for newsletters too.

Well if it stops the download facility of photos it would. What would be the difference between that and a secret page given that only people I authorise can be on the secret page anyway?

I think the secret page is already pretty secure from the perspective that I have it set that only friends can post, only group members can see each other, photos etc can not be shared or tagged and no one can find the page on a search.

I would be interested to know what difference tha app would make though.

Thanks for the Scribd idea.  It helped me with a solution to posting the pdf issue I had been having as well.
