Hi,I am trying to load a video onto my FB page and it tells me I will be notified when it is processed but then nothing happens.I have tried adding it on the page link where you can add photos/videos and have also tried going through the video app thing……but nothing happens and nothing appears. I tried yesterday and again today so I have given it plenty of time.I must be doing something wrong but I can’t work out what.Thanks in advance for any help that comes.

I actually did exactly the same thing on Wednesday. My video was 1gb though so I’m wondering if there is a size limit. I left it run supposedly uploading through the night, but the pop up window was still there come morning.
I’m actually just now uploading my video to my YouTube channel instead and I’ll link to it instead.

Hi Heather, My video is only about 40 seconds long so really very small. I checked the size and it is way under the limit. It is just frustrating that it says it has loaded and then nothing….
I have thought about the utube option as well (haven’t done that before) but I don’t really want to do that if I can avoid it and we shouldn’t really have to do that.
Actually I might try going through my twitter and then sharing that way…..
Well, that didn’t work. It appears you can’t add a video directly to twitter ;(

I am sorry others are having the same issue. I compressed my video to be suitable and small enough for facebook page and have tried twice to be told I will be notified when it’s ready. Only trouble is I am never uploaded. Sigh

@anitaendersby I have loaded video in the past without issue but today when I went in it would not even open “Upload Video” for me. There may be a glitch going on since I didn’t have issue previously. I would recommend doing the video post elsewhere and linking or embedding (perhaps through your website?) if you need it posted immediately.

@anitaendersby Do you have the video app on the page? I do and it redirects when trying to load and then stops. I can’t even get to the “You will be notified when complete” steps. Have you contacted Facebook Support for assistance?

Videos are supposed to be shorter than 20 minutes and less than 1024 MB @clusterwebdesign @anitaendersby so your video sounds like it’s technically fine. I’ve often had problems uploading video directly to Facebook and sometimes have just given up and put it on YouTube with a link. But it’s nice to have it reside there for some fresh content. My advice is to just try again!

Appreciate the input since I have uploaded a video twice and it’s still no where to be found. I will try the other options suggested. I don’t have problems at other times for my pages in the past so not sure why now. Definitely must be a glitch.

Hi Anita,Where s the video located in the net (do u have an embeded link) you need a video server to upload your video.
1 first option create a content tab – like this one http://www.facebook.com/ProMarketingWizard/app_198306846945967 and insert the embeded link in the editor
2 second – upload the video to Youtube or Vimeo and use all the free apps in the market to add to your tabs http://pwizard.com/content/?i=186&Facebook%20Applications you can try Involver or Fanzila apps as well

Try re-uploading the video. If still not working, change the recording dimensions and try re-uploading again. Sometimes facebook has intermittent issues with videos.
