I need to create a more customized cover photo for my business. Now, I just have a generic photo stock on my page https://www.facebook.com/CruiseTravelers

What software have others used to create a more customized cover photo?

All suggestions are welcome!

Hi Melissa…I’ve used MicroSoft Publisher and set up the size needed for Facebook seemed to work fine for me! But I am going to checkout what Alexandra suggested as well. Good luck!

@melissabruno1  if you don’t want a watermark, you can always do like me and use a picture that you took. The picture I’m using now comes from my friend, Sean.

@melissabruno1  I have used Microsoft Publisher and Powerpoint as well – for my personal page I use my own pictures I’ve taken – for the business I chose  a simple Powerpoint Template to use until I get the time to customize one.  And someone on FB shared a new site for Timeline covers:  http://www.firstcovers.com/ that seems to look pretty good.

@melissabruno1, I used Photoshop for my image.   You can also you some of the other resources listed like my Timeline Cover Banner as mentioned by Andrea Vahl.   Another great resource is Fan Page Engine.   It’s already laid out for you, you just have to plug in what you want.

@kathleenrollins Im trying to do the same thing on power point. How did you size the image to fit Facebook cover page 851 x 315  pixel standards? I read the conversion to inches is 4.0 x 1.5 in but it Facebook wont accept my image because the width is too small…. any tips?
