@aprylparcher I have run contests through wildfire and had a fairly poor experience. While there were some legitimate entries, there were also a lot of people that bought votes so they could win the sweepsteaks (it’s like a total subculture on FB).
Conversely, I have run some deals and coupons with woobox and have enjoyed the experience. I plan to use them to run a sweepsteaks for some clients in the next few weeks- Ill let you know how it goes. They are the people behind static iframe tabs and other really useful apps, so I am pretty optimistic.
So far the only difficulty with running any of the contests/ promotions, has been learning their respective UI’s and experimenting with how things look. I haven’t had too many issues with measuring the ROI for any of the campaigns as that has more to do with the structure of the promotion as opposed to the effectiveness of the app (think about what your goal is for the promo).
@jfouts- I have used North Social and really like their apps as well. Great suggestion!
