Hello Friends,

 Saw a video about facebook promoted posts https://www.facebook.com/help/promote. I don’t see the promote button on my fanpage…can someone please guide me…where can i find that button? Is it worth trying?

Has anyone tried it? How was your experience?

Your page needs a minimum of 400 Likes to be able to use it.

I love it. It gives you a chance to reach people who you would not normally be able too, and the cost is minimal. I have found that it does increase likes and comments.

Having said that, I wouldn’t use it all of the time, just when you think it is important.

I would like to be able to try this feature, but Facebook won’t let me. When I click on “promote,” I get the megaphone icon and the budget-setting box. When I then hit “save,” I get a message saying, “An error occurred. Please try again later.”

On my page Naive art by Marie Jonsson-Harrison the promotion button does not show up until after you have posted something then firstly you have a highlight button and after you have pressed that you can then chose to use the promotion one that appears.  Hope that helps.  Warm Regards Marie  http://www.facebook.com/Naiveartbymarie

besides the 400 – 100,000 fans, the post has to be three days old or less.  also they were rolling it out – maybe those who don’t have it are more remote?  You also have to be using Facebook as your page to see the button.
