  • 40 mInutes ago i put a  picture of   a bed we altered   on  my  facebook   with a  question..WHAT  WOULD  YOU DO WITH THIS?   ..so  good   ….10 comments  already…and  10 likes already…..

i probably heard  that  great  advice emphasized   on here..

its  kind of  social  and  kind of   come  buy  the  bed!!!  and  kind of   have  fun alter something…. so im  happy with my post today…and   thankful  for  all the onfo  floating around for us…..

  • you could make that a series. I could turn almost anything into a book shelf or plant holder

  • thats  what im  going to do….about once a week…..   they  are so into rehabbing…..  just a simple question brought me   over  2000  reach out of  3000 fans….  over  16%…. what  was that  16%   number?  must  be   so  general and  average….

im  going to  try   randis  question   soon,  after i find the right picture….the LIKE if  you can   see  this  .

  • @annfurnivall That’s awesome! Great way to engage your audience. Good luck on your future posts! Did you have a call to Action to like/comment or did you just ask WHAT  WOULD  YOU DO WITH THIS?

  • just ~~~ what would  you do with this?   and it  ended up with  30+ comments..a lot  for us……..i dont sell online,   and i have never asked for a like..it feels  wierd  to me to do that…….im  thinking  about it  tho after reading  randis  post on that…………but  most of   our  fans   are actual  customers  so i  dont  really need them to do anything online….my  page is  more about   keeping  us  on their  radar…heres my page….  http://www.facebook.com/greenoakantiques      the post   was with a picture of  a  white  bed….about  4  posts  down….

  • That is awesome @annfurnivall – pictures are so engaging!  Even if they are not customers, you never know where these posts will lead – maybe  one person will find your Page and feature you on Oprah :) That actually happened to a client of mine!  Very cool.

  • @annfurnivall

Are you paying for this to be advertised on Facebook or just posting it on your page as an update?

I’ve also found success with “like” this post if…

  • @annfurnivall  Great job Ann!  Love that you have so much from “locals” and that headboard is awesome!!!

  • @kimkline …our  locals   come  from  100 miles  around.. our  actual town is   real small….

and   like andrea   mentioned  sometimes   i get  buyers  from  far away due to our internet  efforts…… they have to  come here tho ,  our  stuff is  BIG….

  • @kimberlycarlo   everything is  coming  from the  daily posts….  todays  was pretty  good  to….made in indiana….a good subject….

i havent   bought  any  ads  for along time, except a promoted post about a month ago..10$$ …  my  fans  are  mostly   organic and   pretty  connected   with us….very kindred  spirits….

we  bought  some ads  last  yr….but not  sure if  they were worth it…i will probably   buy  some  for our  big event  coming up….
