Getting Twitter feed to Facebook (7 posts)

    Hi, I’m trying to link twitter to a facebook business page.

    I know how to do this, but a friend has a facebook personal page and a business page. He also has a personal twitter account and a business twitter account.

    He already has the personal twitter and personal facebook account working.

    Here’s the problem…

    When I tried to add his twitter business account to his facebook business page the facebook app (within twitter) said that I had to disconnect the personal page first.

    He doesn’t want to disconnect the personal account. He just wants to get the business pages feeding each other his updates.

    Any ideas?

    If you are using the Facebook.com/twitter feature @glenandrews then there is only one Twitter account you can connect from there.  

    The unfortunate thing is that there is only one good way that I know of to automatically go out from Facebook to Twitter and that’s with the facebook.com/twitter feature.  There are many ways to update both Twitter and Facebook from a 3rd party site.  Hootsuite, SocialOoomph, Buffer, Sprout Social, Tweetdeck, and many others like that.  So that may be the way to go.  

    Anyone else have suggestions on what would work best to update both at the same time?

    Wait a second @glenandrews  I was just in there and realized I have multiple sites going out to different twitter accounts so you should be able to do this.  I was thinking that one Twitter account could be authorized but this isn’t the case.  Sorry for the confusion!!

    When you are trying to connect the Business Facebook Account to the Business Twitter Account, are you logged in to your Twitter business account when you do the authorization?

    So sorry, @glenandrews I didn’t circle back to this!  So I was able to get multiple accounts connected to mine if I’m just logged into the appropriate twitter account when I go to the http://www.facebook.com/twitter site and try and connect them.  Or just log out of Twitter completely and then it will have you log in to the one you want to connect.  Let me know if that works!
