I just saw the mention on Social Media Examiner for the app that lets you put a forum on your FB Page. I took a look at it, but just wanted to ask if anyone has used it and what their feedback is about it.

Is it beneficial, do you think? Can people not just post topics/questions on the wall – why would you need a forum? Is it perhaps just best suited to certain types of brand pages?

@symposio I used it and it was $5 month to keep it running (if its the same one).  I liked it…. but, I actually took it off.  The reason I took it off, is because it did not “notify” me of any activity, which kind of rendered it a bit useless.  So, I tell people to go to my wall instead and I use the Zendesk.com instead, because it integrates with the facebook wall.

Great feedback on that app, everyone!  I was wondering the same thing.  I do think a forum could be good for certain pages that need more of a group conversation but mostly the wall is the best place for people to post.
