Hey guys!

Curious to get your thoughts on Facebook’s Timeline Movie Maker. I have created a video on my personal site and have brought up this new tool with my boss for our corporate site. Overall I like it, but if I could change one item I would allow users to pick all of their photos in the movie not just the cover photo. Aside from that, I think it’s pretty awesome.

Same here, haven’t had a chance to use it.  I know my company’s timeline is thin now but we are planning on filling it out – would be a nice marketing piece when done if we had a movie for it. Would love to hear other thoughts.

I noticed there are images that are not on my timeline so they must put them in to act as fillers. I think it could be a pretty cool way to market yourself depending on how you set it up.

@warrenveach Unless I’m not looking hard enough I didn’t see an imbed code or any way to copy a link. It would be great if there was one

Hey guys!Unfortunately only your friends can view your timeline movie, kind of a bummer but at the same time the incentive behind showcasing your “timeline” as well. Its definitely not as advanced as other free movie makers, but I think the App is cool and it essentially does all the work for you. Can’t beat free. I just think its fun to find new ways to engage your friends, even if that means with old photos.

@calepissarra It feels like a very long time since I did that but I have to think I was logged into my page as Prestige BBQ and Oven Cleaning and not as a page owner. Without retracing my steps that’s the only way I can think of.

Nothing encouraging about Timeline as a concept to be encouraged to try its features.

I love the timeline movie maker.

You can modify most of the images and the other thing is when it stops half way to show a post from the page, you can edit what that says too.

Re sharing it, no embed code so I used camtasia to capture it whilst i played it on the screen and then loaded to YouTube.
