Long story short, there are duplicates of a clients brand page still up on Facebook and unfortunately we just don’t have the access to remove ourselves, so we’ve been relying on Facebook’s “Report as Duplicate” feature to have these old pages taken down…
Which brings me to this: 8 months and still the old pages have not been removed. Has anyone ever been to able to successfully receive help from someone at Facebook to remove a dead page?
Thoughts, suggestions?

@luftherz Contacting Facebook is so frustrating! I’ve talked to people who have sent 10 requests a DAY to Facebook and still gotten no where.
Are those Pages growing? Are people accidentally Liking those Pages instead of yours? If not, then it’s probably not a huge issue.
You can also go the Intellectual Property route – sometimes I’ve seen that have more success: http://www.facebook.com/help/399224883474207/  Hope that helps!

Facebook is run by children - we had the URL blocked to our website from FB for 6 months. I finally got through via their ads division
ie “I really would like to give you money to advertise but won’t until you fix the problem” It got fixed in a week
