Have you done any custom page with 810px wide option? Because what i have seen till now the space for customizing the page is still 520px as you can see all the big brands having same 520px wide custom pages for example Coca-Cola http://on.fb.me/ztkhU9, FORD http://on.fb.me/yEyAdD
I have also text by putting a 800px image in custom tab but it is not shown more than 520px.
So have you tried anything like this or have any example where they are using 810px wide area for custom page?
Your input would be highly appreciated.

With the new message feature can we only respond to messages or can we message our fans? I can see where I receive messages but nothing to send them. Not that I would mass mail my fans but just want to know If I overlooked something.

@ijazrafi I haven’t ran across any examples of custom pages that use the 810pix size yet. I played with it for a while yesterday. you no longer have the fangate option but on the plus side you gain a lot of real estate as you now have the room to drop an entire full size website into the canvas

You can toggle the page width between 520 and 810 by editing your app settings at this link https://developers.facebook.com/apps

You can also upload a 75pix X 75pix logo for your button.
