? Facebook Recommendation? on FB insight (2 posts)

    From my FB page insight, there are a number of new fans recruited from “Facebook Recommendation”, which means– ppl who liked your page from a recommendation page unit on the right column of Facebook.

    Question

    1) Anyone know the mechanism of this “recommendation”? by the no. of FB friend who like it ? By no. of fans on my page?

    2) I don’t see there’s a recommednation page unit on the right column all the time. How does it work?

    Recommendations are only active for local businesses.  I don’t know how the mechanics work but it shows the most recent recommendation at the top.  I don’t know if because someone recommends you and then it shows up in the News Feed then someone is more likely to Like you.  It would be interesting to know where those are tracked from.
