Since FB announced their data errors last Friday, my per post reach #’s for a page I manage have gone through the roof. Talking 4x,5x and even 6x the reach for “nothing special” types of posts. We have doubled our all-time high for reach on a single post. Anyone else seeing this as well?

yes!!! i was just going to post a ??? about this …… my blue line on reach in my analytics is very impressive!!! lol….and a post yesterday reached about 1000 more than my # of fans……for me its been that way for several days…. even more yesterday tho…
whats going on?

my new reach   numbers seem to be staying up so i guess im thinking they are real….
i did read , from john loomis,loomer???….that  REACH didnt count   much because reach just meant they were on someones page for just a moment…..but dont we usually look at the whole days   posts to our page? i try to….I realize its   kind of a fuzzy number ..but still if my post is on a fans page , that seems good to me….i read posts at night that came in all thru the day….he also said some  dont even check their pages   on some days… but thats not new…
heres another question….WOULD THE new reach numbers BE EVEN HIGHER   WITH TEXT ONLY?     im not seeing the big difference   in reach between text and photos now…. this is very confusing!!! lol

@michaelpingree My numbers did seem to increase. I just attributed it to our growing friend base, new content and an exciting conference. Thank you for the heads up. I’ll add a note to my monthly communications report!

Hi guys, I have a similar issue going on and not quite sure what to make of it.
On the actual post is says the post has reached 1,320, has 9 likes, 11 shares and 2 comments.
However, when I look at the Insights, it’s saying 166 organic reached, 1,158 viral….114 people engaged, 18 link clicks, 44 other click and 65 stories created….and 57 people talking about this, with 9 likes, 11 shares and 2 comments showing here.
The math here seems off to me? Or am I just misreading something?
