Scott, I do not know. I do know that FB search is heavily coded. It will return results that they think are connected to you or your friends. So a business will not necessarily show up in search, even if you entered its name perfectly. You can see this is action if you search as an individual, the search while using your page profile. Different results.

Another one is http://www.fbinstant.net/ - it sometimes finds better results than Facebook search, which as @abigailgorton said, is very bad. The other method I use is to go to the websites of the companies you are looking for and then seeing if they have a Facebook Page listed – that’s if you know what you are looking for.
