  • Anyone tried Facebook Offers yet? Do you need to add wording like “To redeem this offer take this email to X and show it to staff” or is this text automatically generated when Facebook send an email to anybody that redeems the offer?
What I am getting at (I think!!) is, do you need to add the claiming instructions to the Terms text in the Post?

  • @chatmarketing Yes you have to add your own Call to Action words. You have to make your own offer description. There is a very nice help video from facebook on  https://www.facebook.com/help/offers#admins. While creating offer, keep few points in mind:

    1. Create an inviting title, use call to actions like get discount, buy one get one free, hurry up, great offer for you etc.2. Use thumbnail that shows your product with customer or something like that rather than putting only product image alone.3. Make sure you mention any Terms and Conditions, if any.Follow instructions mentioned in video. Thanks,!

  • i wont  be  trying them any  more…. tried  2….lots of   takers  but no redeemers….

not  sure why…. our  customers  like a good deal…..but they  dont seem  to  respond  tho  any kind of   controlled  contest or  way to  get a deal.. with us anyway…

  • Does anyone know when Facebook Offers will be live for everyone?  I don’t see it yet on my page and I do have a local business.  I signed up quite some time ago as being interested in it.

  • @dianebianchi We hear lot of buzz about it, have heard many times that they will launch it soon, but their soon never comes :( At least not for now, so don’t know by when they will launch offer for all pages.

  • Thanks @moinshaikh

  • I tried Facebook Offers but they are really only good for truly local businesses.  You can’t change the wording they send out in their e-mail when people claim it and it says “Bring this a printout of this e-mail into the store and show it when you check out” type of wording @chatmarketing  I did a post on it here:  http://andreavahl.com/facebook/how-and-why-to-use-facebook-offers.php

I only had one person redeem the offer (but it was challenging since I’m an online business)  And I think others have experienced the same thing – many people don’t redeem the offer like @annfurnivall said.  But since it’s free to use, it doesn’t hurt to try!
I’m not sure when they will be rolling to everyone, @dianebianchi – I was able to get it by using the category as Local business in both of the category options.
