Google Analytics has the ability to set up filters for your IP address so that your website doesn’t count your own traffic. But this is only if you have a dedicated IP address, which would include cable users for sure, but DSL and satellite providers use rotating IP addresses. Currently I get my internet service through a DSL provider and I’m on a rotating IP address. I don’t know how many so it would be hard for me to set up a filter for each one.
