On Facebook Insights for a business page you are able to export the data of likes, engagement etc. for any range of dates.
When you export the data and open the excel spreadsheet : the first 3 columns are (besides the date): Daily People Talking About This; Weekly People Talking about This; and 28 days people talking about this.
I can’t seem to figure out the difference between the 3. When I multiply the first column of numbers by 7 (to get what I think would represent a weekly figure) the calculated figure it is much smaller than the number in the weekly column. The same with Weekly number to 28 days column. I can’t get the math to work out.
I am just trying to see what my total “People talking about this” for a month is so I can share that data with my company. I feel like the Weekly and 28 day numbers are incorrect and generally I resort to the daily number, although much lower. I would hate to pretend I am producing a much higher engagement level than I am.
My Question is – does anyone know how to interpret this data and am i correct that it doesn’t add up, or what am I missing? Are all columns exactly how they read?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
