    im in a facebook  group and   have noticed lately   that  the posts from  there are appearing on  my   timeline……is  that  something  i  can  stop?  i  dont like it  on  my  personal page… …

    @annfurnivall they show up in your timeline because you are in the group. People that are not in the group shouldn’t be seeing them.

    @juleswebb thanks  jules….  so  youre  saying that   all my  friends  cant see the posts on    my time line?  i feel likei can see a lot  of posts on  my  friends  timelines….

    @annfurnivall only people who are in the group should be seeing the posts in their timeline or your timeline.

    Are sure the posts you see on your friends timelines are posted from a facebook group?

      my friends is  in the group, when she  posts  in the group , it shows on my personal timeline.we are also  friends….and  she   always  seems to  be  griping about  customers….and i dont like that on  my personal page  since lots of my  friends there are  retail customers…

    i dont think  all the posts  from the   group  are coming  thru to my timeline…..maybe its  because of her settings?   we are  friends… 

    o the  mysteries of  facebook…..

    It sounds like your friend is in the same group you are in. 

    So if you’re both in the group then you would both see these group postings in your timeline. Because you are friends her group postings are more visible in your timeline. Postings from other group members might not show up in your timeline because you don’t interact with them as much or at all. But if you go to the group timline then you should see all posts made by group members.

    does this make sense?
