Any suggestions on sources of public domain images for a Facebook cover photo just to get started? This is for a professional services start-up firm. Thanks.
I like searching the Creative Commons area of Flickr. Lots of great images there. And places like iStock photo don’t cost much either. What other areas do people source from?
@stanrobinson
I use Fotolia the most. It’s cheaper than iStock with many of the same images although I do use iStock on occasion when I can’t find it on Fotolia. Dreamstime is ok however I find that many of their images have an amateur quality to them. I hope that doesn’t sound awful.
Nichole – thanks for your suggestions. I have looked at iStock and will check Fotolia and Dreamstime.
Andrea – I appreciate your help. I will look at Flickr also.
Very inexpensive photos at depositphoto.comJust make sure to get big enough copy
I would have to say that my most favorite place to find stock images and resources is http://browse.deviantart.com/resources/
Be careful the site can become addictive
@stanrobinson I have been a member at BigStockPhoto for years. They have a good selection and good prices. There are cheaper sites, and sites with more exciting photos. But this is a great source for me for my blog posts and webinar slides.
@scottmadden@charlene-kingstonScott and Charlene – thanks for your suggestions!
