Since no-one else has answered as yet, and I haven’t had specific experience with this, I googled it If your client is using Storefront Social it provides many great features but I couldn’t find anywhere on the site that specified that it supplied stats on visitors.
However, in a further Google search, check out box #2 on this url where they suggest checking stats on visits by setting up Google Analytics – it will give you some pretty specific visit stats but cannot identify the names of the visitors.
Even with Google Analytics on your website, you can get specific information on the visits by day/week/month and from where but can’t give you specifics about the individual visitors.
I would think that if you could have a “sign-in” process to get access to the storefront, in that way you could identify your visitors.
