First..Happy New Year everyone! As most of us know when we post information on our news feed only about 16% of our friends will ever see the post.(according to what I have read). So what I have done is add all 1500 plus friends to my list of “Close Friends” It is my understanding that now when I post on my News Feed to my “Close Friends” list ALL of the 1500 plus friends will see my POSTS! My questions to you is this … Was my thinking correct in making this move? Have you tried this? Any information about this topic would be helpful. I am aware of the ” promote post” options as well.. Maybe I should also mention that the Facebook page I am referring to is my personal page and not my business page.. Thank you in advance for you input! Best wishes,Andy Dickey

When I added all my friends to my close friend list the only noticeable thing was this….I get hundreds of notifications at the top of my page that my close friends have made a new post! Ops! my idea turned out to be a dead end and now all of these notices I recieve are a nuisance! I am now going to reset the settings to my actual close friends I enjoy following the most!! Andy
