Is it just me or have they modified the Facebook ads so now you can’t have a right hand column ad that says MY FRIEND (fill in with name) likes NAME OF COMPANY. From what I can tell you can only use that wording as a sponsored post. Please help!

I have a few out there now from previous campaigns, but other than to extend a campaign, I haven’t figured out how to do this in their new Facebook ads!

Hi @betsy-anderson, facebook has indeed made changes to this feature. The new ad section now splits the ad in two places, giving you the option of placing the regular ad and a sponsored story all in one campaign.

I saw the post promotion option in a recent Like campaign I did for Van’s Health Foods. I did have good success and added about 100 new fans in about a 12 day run. Not bad for a small store in a mid sized CA town. I’ll look at @otoabasiumonting video next week since I would like to master FB marketing.
