Encourage fans to create interest lists? (3 posts)

    I was wondering if anyone of you has encouraged your fans to create an interest list where your Facebook page should be included in order to reverse the downwards trend of fan engagement. If so, did you see any positive results?

    I have just started doing that, @claudiapoeckl on my Grandma Mary Show page.  I had a couple of people who had already said they had added me to interest lists which was a good thing.  But it’s too soon to tell if my engagement and reach will go up because of it. 

    I actually created a whole image designed to show people how to add me to a list.  Others can feel free to share it with your Fans to help them figure it out.  I think for many average users, Interest Lists are confusing.  Here’s the post:  http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151199611104304&set=a.100891619303.86021.90599504303&type=1

    I think the thing I find frustrating is the Fans who say, I want to see your posts but they don’t show up.  Argh!

    @andrea-vahl, is it only personal profiles that can add pages to interest lists like this, or can business pages also do it?  I have tried from a Page, but there is no ‘Add to Interest lists…’ drop down on the wheel icon.  I can’t try from my personal page as am blocked for 30 days for apparently messaging too many friends (10!) who weren’t actually friends-on-facebook in one day.  Live and learn.
