  • Do you use Instagram? You might want to be aware of this…

Some or all of the Service may be supported by advertising revenue. To help us deliver interesting paid or sponsored content or promotions, you agree that a business or other entity may pay us to display your username, likeness, photos (along with any associated metadata), and/or actions you take, in connection with paid or sponsored content or promotions, without any compensation to you.

  • that  sounds   pretty horrible!!!….  we dont use it after  considering it and  asking about it here and   asking about i it  in our  business network…. mainly  becasue its not  being used much  by our  target age….yet…

my  info  tells me  its  huge with  the younger  set….teens  and   20s…

  • That’s what you get when children have a billion bucks in pocket change to buy a company that make pictures you took today look like you took them in the fifties.

  • I love instagram, this really makes my mad! I’m used by now to have my personal information taken for advertisement purposes, but this is even worse, they can take your pictures too. For what I read in Mashable, they can use your pictures in ads too. If thats true, its really horrible.

  • LOTS of unsubscribes on the horizon – so much for running Instagram promotions – you may want to check out http://www.google.com/mobile/goggles/#text

  • @mitch-rezman yeah, if this continues, I will just delete my account, it’s just not worth it…

  • I wish i had a billion bucks to blow

  • I’ve considered using Instagram, but after reading that!? No way. I’m sure they’ll find out real soon it was a dumb decision, however, there are a lot of young people using the service, that frankly don’t care. Pfft

  • @riddlelo Yes, they don’t care today – but wait a few years or until they see something out there that shouldn’t be!  I don’t usually jump onto the bandwagon of new trends – such as Instagram.  Prefer to have the pros break it down and fine-tune it before I even consider it.

I know it is said to ‘get in early’ but I’ve learned from experience it is not always the best thing to do.

I still think it best to work a few platforms until you understand them, and expand only if and when you think it is appropriate.  Jumping from one to another definitely takes up a good block of time.  I can see it for those in the business of Social Media and SEO – but it isn’t necessarily a fit for others promoting a different type business.
