Hi,

I don’t know how many of you are facing such problem that I am facing for quite long time – every time when there anybody ‘Like’ my FB page, the fan number goes down, not goes up.

I have observed it for long time, it is happens every day (at least 2 or 3 fans will gone), sometime it can up to 10, the more ‘New Like’ the page got, the more ‘number of fans’ will go down at the same time. I noticed it especially active on Friday, I can say the number is massive gone.

I checked the ‘Insights’ board, the graphic shows very strange, ‘New Like’ and ‘Not Like’ goes to the same pattern and direction, I think there something really going wrong.

I have sent email to FB last year, but no luck, didn’t get any reply from them at all. I thought it might be the bug, but then someone told me that probably someone stealing the fans or something else that done from FB side …

Do you also face this problem or something similar? how to sort out this issue?

@annliu, strange and sad too. I am not sure but your page might have become a scapegoat to a technical bug of fb page system. This is just a concern. To go into details, can you send the page url?

@annliu i have liked it from both my personal id(moin shaikh) and company id(intesols australia), and now i am digging into matter. Will get back to you with solution if any. By the way may i ask you to thumb up our charity hospital page

@annliu i notice one number decreased and then increased. What i feel is that it is not a problem but actual like and ulike being given by fans, to be fair i could say that there might be some mischief fans who just to tease you first give like and then unlike the page and this way the number gets fluctuated. This is my personal assumption. Though i will keep continue to look into the matter, right now i am in search of app that allows us to down load fan base, which would be very handy for page admins.
