    Who out there have used custom tab vendors (i.e., Wildfire) for creating custom tabs, landing pages and the like.

    What did you like? What could be improved?

    Are they all monthly fees or do some have different pricing models?

    I use Shortstack – the free version and really like them. I find it really easy to use, install on any of my pages (mine and my clients) and offers everything that I think you might want on a given tab. There are some apps that provide specific functionality that you won’t get with Shortstack, like the recommend to friends app, etc., but that’s about it. I will consider going with a paid subscription, but I’m not yet clear on what that’ll give me other than removing their branding.

    There are so many custom tab apps out there, @rich-brooks 

    I wrote a post about it here:  http://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/top-10-facebook-apps-for-building-custom-pages-tabs/ but I would say my favorites are now Shortstack and Lujure for drag and drop template designs and I like that they have free options.

    Thanks! That was just what I was looking for. Constant Contact has recently rolled out Social Campaigns that builds custom tabs, too, and integrates w/your CC email campaigns, but the two you mention look a bit slicker.

    (Just don’t tell them I said that…I love CC!)
