@rajatgarg, thanks again.
As you might’ve read, I’m advertising an admission test to get into a university in Brazil. There are ‘campi’ in 2 different cities (from now on, called cities A and B, to make it simple), offering distinct undergraduate courses. The ads talking about courses offered in city A can only be seen by people that live in there and cities surrounding, for instance. Is it understandable?
The problem is: when I set up a targeting for people between 16 and 30 yo living in city A, Facebook tells me that I’ll reach around 1 million people. If I include “law” as an interest in one of the ads (Law is one of the courses offered in that city), my reach drops to 300 people only.
That leads me to 2 conclusions: 1) I need more than 300 people enrolling to take the admission test and 2) how about those 999.970 users that will not see any of my ads, wouldn’t they be interested in studing in the university?
I know that adding interests can raise my CTR, but not enough people will get to know about the admission process.
That’s my issue. Thanks again for your attention!
