Creative ideas for marketing company (6 posts)

  • Hello everybody, we’re currently re-newing our Facebook strategies and therefore I would like to ask you, if you don’t have any ideas, how to communicate activities of company, which offers online marketing(including social media), lectures, software development and such IT things. Yes, we advise people how to communicate through social media with their customers, but I’m kinda lost, how to communicate our activities(such as social media marketing) through our own FB page. Thanks!

  • I’m confused about your question @irenafallen  Are you asking how to post about your offerings?  What is your Page specifically so we can see it..  What is happening now that you feel isn’t working?  Then maybe we can help you better!

  • Maybe I’ve said it incorrectly:)
    Well, we are company which offers online marketing(social media marketing and PPCs, Google Adwords and such things) as well as software development. 
    We definitely do good job with our clients, but it’s very hard for me to think of some creative ways of promoting the actual marketing services on Facebook. Right now we only share some articles from time to time(some ours, some from other webpages), post pictures  from our lectures as well as info about them. 
    But the engagment is still pretty low.

  • @irenafallen No no – I just wanted to make sure I was clear.  Yes, I can’t read the czech that well :)   But the first thing is that I would post more.  It’s easy for a Page to disappear from the News Feed and I think if you focus on posting continual tips for your clients so that they watch and share your page, that would help. 

    I think you have to think of yourself as your own customer.  Don’t we all do that – we neglect our own business for our customers!  So what would you advise you to do if you were a customer?  Post often, post tips, hold a contest, do some advertising…..

  • @irenafallen One of the things I like to do is promote myself by promoting my clients. That way my followers can see what I’ve done and my clients like the additional exposure to my audience.

    My view is that the biggest missed opportunity with social media is that people forget about the peer-to-peer connections. So many of us still treat it as a broadcasting platform.

    If you have a long line of success stories then that is the perfect thing to put out there on Facebook. Clear it with your clients, then post up information about the campaign (i.e. here are the goals, here’s the results, aren’t we amazing!) and then invite that client to field questions about the campaign or about their own company. Turn your Facebook page into a platform for your client to gain more business
