Hello,
I have a new client who’s business has a community page on Facebook. He does not remember who created it and when he logs into Facebook, this page does not show up for him. So basically, he’s not an admin of the page. No one in his organization (it’s a small biz) knows who created the page. Before making a new page, I’d like to know if you can merge the community page to a new page without having admin access. Some people have liked the community page and I’d like to keep those fans even though there aren’t many. @jamesalonso That is a type of page you can claim. Some Pages are true Community Pages (they have a suitcase icon) and cannot be claimed. But this one can be. You can try the Message button since it is open and see if anyone responds and ask them to transfer ownership to you.
The only other course of action is to Report the page as infringing on your intellectual property. You can do that by clicking on the wheel icon and clicking report page. Then you can click the “Is this your intellectual property?” link to get that started.
You can’t merge a page with your Page without having Admin rights to that Page. Hope that helps!

@andrea-vahl Thank you so much. I didn’t even think about messaging them. I’ll try that before reporting the page just in case me client has another Facebook profile he doesn’t remember.
