If you are still paying attention to this thread, I would love a look at that beta as well. The simple answer to the original question however, is yes. Asking fans to “like” your posts can increase likes by as much as 30% on a single post. Take a look at Christianet’s FB page for a perfect example of what Edge Rank can do. They share nothing but not so clever picture and slogan posts which get huge amounts of sharing and likes. They have over 1.5 million fans, but many more talking about them, all because of edge rank.
