    Is there a way to send a direct message from your FB Page? For example, to thank someone who has Liked your Page? If not, what is the easiest way to send them a thank you note?

    Hey Stan,

    Unfortunatelly you cannot. To be able to message someone directly, the person needs to message the Page first, as in they need to initiate contact. You can always @tag people on your page’s wall but that can become a tiresome task as your fan base grows. Also, if you start it you need to be consistent and do it for everyone so think if that’s something you’re prepared to do.

    @stanrobinson -You can send a direct message back to them if they leave a message on your page. That is if you have the option showing the message button on your FB page.

    Chiming in here, I may be wrong but I thought with Facebook’s new Timeline updates, you could directly message someone who likes your page. Also, you can switch and use FB not as yourself but the company or brand of your page. Make sense?

    Unfortunately no, you can’t message someone directly from your brand page unless someone messages you first, not even using Facebook as the page itself :(
