Buying business Facebook likes (3 posts)

  • Hello SME family, About a month ago I started another business and now it’s off and running very well. The nature of this business is selling a product that is used for weight loss and boosting the users daily energy. I am about to start another business Facebook page for this new endeavor. This product can be marketed nationally and shipped very easily. With my other two business the services I offer are very localized. So no potential for out side shipping. My question to you is this…would it be of benefit to me to BUY business likes to get the word out through out this country? I have heard of a site I can buy LIKES through that would not go outside this country. Your view points are greatly desired! Thanks in advance,Andy Dickey

  • I have rarely seen a “buying likes in this country” service that actually delivers that @andy-dickey   I know there have been one or two people who said a service they used works but for the most part it’s untargeted and sometimes fake accounts that do you no good.  I think a better use of your money is to use Facebook’s ads.  It’s more expensive but from what I’ve seen, you get what you pay for.

    Anyone else have any thoughts?

  • I agree with Andrea, ads seem to be the way to go for growth on Facebook these days. The cheap and easy giveaways only bring in cheap fans that have no loyalty and respect for the brand. Buying likes has the trouble that when you do use promoted posts, you are reaching out to those fans’ friends, and those fans may not exist or even actually want to see something from the brand.

I’ve found blogging and distribution to be a great way to bring in likes, by including the like code iframe from facebook in the middle of a post with a call to action to like me on Facebook.
