Business page Header Problem (8 posts)

Topic tags: Business Pages, Timeline
  • OK. The new timeline has arrived. No problems. But I have 2 accounts; my own, which has the option to change my big header image, and my business page, which does’t have the option. Anyone help?

  • Looks like when you are on your business page you are still under your regular profile. You need to make sure you are…. using Facebook as: Alkaway.

When in your business page go to settings and check Always comment and post on your page as Alkaway. Then you will not have to switch back and forth.

  • @ianhamilton first login to facebook using your profile id and pass then look at top right corner, click on that small arrow icon, then you will see use facebook as <your business page name>, just click on that page name, then you’ll see an area to upload cover photo, click on upload cover photo or change cover photo.. now choose either from already uploaded photos using option choose from photos or choose to upload photo from computer..it’s that simple :)

  • @michaelcambier @moinshaikh … If you are setup as a page admin it doesn’t matter if you are on that page as your profile or page. You can still edit the page if you are logged in as your profile, I do it all the time ;-)

@ianhamilton if you are setup as an admin for your page and can see the admin/edit options but still do not have a way to add your cover, you may need to contact Facebook

  • @ianhamilton after looking at your page and profile I wonder if you’re just not seeing the option to add your cover image.

Hover your cursor in the blank space just above your like and message buttons and you should see a add cover button revealed.

    Hope that helps … Scott

  • @scottprock I have always checked the box to make sure I post as a page instead of my profile…. Guess it does not matter, thanks for the correction. If ” Hover your cursor in the blank space just above your like and message buttons and you should see a add cover button revealed.” does not work then you must of been fired!

  • Weird. Thanks, Guys. Moin’s excellent directions ”  click on that small arrow icon, then you will seeuse facebook as <your business page name>, just click on that page name, then you’ll see an area to upload cover photo, click on upload cover photo or change cover photo.. ” just aren’t under the small arrow. Danged if I know.
