@nicolechan may be possible that those losers are fake fans. Facebook started crushing down fake likes from pages and to your surprise, most brands who got lost thousands of fans include coke, pepsi and even facebook itself.

@nicolechan may be yes, and obviously they have billions of users (including fake ones) so it might not be an overnight game i guess. Still i would like to hear from other members on this. Thank you!

Hello!Just this past week I have lost 546 Likes on my business page for my company. I read about the purge that FB was using to flush out fake likes, and was wondering if this was what happened. I also know that my predecessor acquired hundreds of likes within 2 weeks time (that was the length of his employment here), and that he must have bought them or garnered them illicitly. 

I have had to explain this to my employers and co workers (who thought my predecessor was a rock star at the time). 

I’m not quite sure how to handle this on the page, not sure what to post to explain to our actual audience, and would appreciate any suggestions anyone could offer!
