    If you own the domain you want to use as a URL shortener, you can actually connect it to bit.ly to use their services (which include a nice stats package.) This also has the benefit of using your branding whenever someone submits your URL on bitly. You can get started setting up the service at https://bitly.com/a/custom_domain_settings
