Greetings,
I am just starting to create my FB fan page.
I know there is so much info out there for doing this in regards to content, design, philosophy…
Before searching everywhere, I thought I would check here for best resources. From basic to advanced, I love step-by-step, tactile and detailed content to guide me through the process.

Also, a great book to check out (by our own club leader, @Andrea-Vahl, is “Facebook Marketing All-in-one For Dummies“
If you hit a question or issue you aren’t sure how to handle, post a thread with the comment and the great members of the networking clubs will help give advice and pointers. There are already a lot of threads up on a variety of topics, so I do encourage you to scroll through the club first before posting questions. Using the search capability will help you too!

Heck, you can even ask specific aspects on growing and expanding your Facebook page.
As you create one, you will quickly come to find that you will need likes.

@nicole-steinberger in general i would go for simple and organic…. keep your target person in mind and go with what they want from you…. dont beg for likes… dont go for uninterested likes , dont go for too many jokes, pUppies or kittens…. show the real YOU….
and the best research is usually looking at great companies in your field who use facebook well and try and absorb what they are doing ….

@internetdreamof i liked your link about getting likes and then read your instagram post…….especially that you gave real world examples…..can i pick your brain? we have a good active facebook page for our business with over 5000 fans and mostly organic….no contests or paid likes ….the engagement is often over 20%%…do you think i should add instagram? would it diffuse my facebook? our targe customer is female homeowner..age 30 to 50 ..
i dont know anything about inst agram or how it works…but i could learn if i thought it was a good thing for our company…im very happy with facebook and the return i get from it… and how easy it is…i sure dont want to mess that up…
