    our  last  2 months   on  facebook  showed me how much my customers like a story and a peek  behind  the scenes…….  we  bought a container of  antiques  from  turkey and it  was interesting and   scary…i shared  most of it on   our page….since it  came about  2 weeks  ago  i m guessing  30 or 40  customers  in the store  have  said  that  they have  been  following  the  story…

    .. now im  trying to   find another subject  that they would  really  get into………

    when  blogs  first   came out i  knew a guy who  ranted about his   divorce and how much he loved his wife and how much he hurt…. whine whine whine…. all this    in between great  talk  about   what  he  was  stying  to sell  us… it  was  kind of a riot…..

    so im looking  for  something…my son and i  have a huge  conflict…. it  could   work   but  trikky…. a dont tell mom  thing… he wants to offer  way more special orders  than i  do….  he  wants to  give the women  whatever they want..i hate that…i want to be cash and  carry like we  have always  been…..i want  them to pick  from what we  have on the floor……  he made one lady a 14 ft  bar  last  month…. 

    anyway im looking  for another  behind  the  scenes  story for our page…and  would   suggest   as  much   personal/real    as  you  can  stand on  your page or  your  clients  page……especiallly  if its for a place like ours….

    @annfurnivall  I’m not sure going into that much detail about personal conflicts behind the scenes of your business is such a good idea.  It might create a bad impression of your business.  That’s my 2 cents.

    right..thats  what i  dont  want to do…. i  want   the  fun exciting  stuff not the   real  conflict….

    ..but  the women would love the idea of  giving  the ladies whatever they  want…..anyway i still need another engaging   little   ongoing  story  for the page…

    @annfurnivall  Maybe you could check out some other women’s blogs or Facebook pages, etc., to see what kind of posts they are doing that get engagement.  You could even check out Pinterest – find some pictures that are popular and come up with a post around something like that.

    my engagement is   about 15 to   20% on  normal times….but the  fun personal stuff about the  container pushed it way up….. our other fun thing is  the   contrasting   needs of the fluffers and  the  flopppers in the store….but the bad  fluffer    word  holds me  back  on that one…. the  fluffers  make it look  nice and the floppers  do the heavy sstuff…. we  laugh that   the fluffers will break a nail…etc etc etc…the  floppers  job is to keep the fluffers happy….do you think  thats  too  gross?

    do you do pinterest?  its   big  for me….i get lots of  business from it…mostly   from people working on their pinterest projects and  needing our  cool parts…….they  come in with pinterest  pictures.

    ..pinpuff  says im  a 74..[thats high]…not  sure how to  cash in on that   tho…..
