Facebook as we all know is a very interactive and influential social platform. But majority of small businesses are finding it hard to attract new customers to their business.
One reason for this is because of the activities of some of the marketers on the platform. The question is – What are you doing to attract potential customers to your business on facebook?

To me as a social media marketer for businesses I think that its more about creating a great brand personality so that you can become better friends with the customers you have. Once you have done that well you will begin to become friends with your customers friends and family. Once you have found success in that it turns viral and you become friends with their friends and family and again and again.

@otoabasi I agree with @ashleyhyde that nurturing relationships is the key. I share articles, links, coupons, etc., that I think my fans will like and I always respond to them. It’s all about them (your fans) and they will become loyal to you and spread the word and the business will come!

@ashleyhyde you have a valid point. Brand building is very important. Then one needs to utilize that to connect better with people on facebook.
@dianebianchi I agree; making it about your fans will pave way for you to convert them to customers. If they like what they bought from you, they will refer you to their friends.

@otoabasiumonting yes, its all about business for me…. but i come from the other direction…. we already had the customers and just invited them to our facebook….then they helped us grow our page… and that meant new customers… but also important facebook connected us better with our main buyers….
