Hi!

Anyone know anything about why FB fan/community pages news feeds have become so problematic? 

I hit refresh and make sure I have ‘top stories’ turned on etc, etc, and have already read through a few FB forums where Facebook say that NOTHING has changed but this is absolutely NOT true. EVERYTHING has changed about it, if I log into my personal page I can instantly see more than my fan page even with the same range of ‘likes’. I also know about FB changing things so that they can make money from ‘promoting your posts’ etc but what I want to know is:

What EXACTLY has changed here on fan pages in terms of news feeds and what I see,

And,

How can I change it without paying money?

I have to hit refresh a few times now to even get things up in my news feed and sometimes it even says there is ‘no more posts’ and I hit a wall of nothingness. I have over 1000 likes of other pages clearly there are more posts to feed.

Advice, news, ideas, please?

I’m shocked that no one is talking about this, it is probably one of THE most important topics on this entire forum. Also, FB have blatantly taken away their customers (pages) ability to engage and interact directly with their audience – and replaced that hole with target marketing/post promotion incentives to make them MORE money. Seriously, I can’t wait for another competitor to come into the market and push FB aside. Enough, we just take it now, anything FB does no matter what, or how bad, it is as there is simply nothing we can do. 

@andrea-vahl I think they are monetizing just fine.All this blah blah stuff about stakeholders and going public and blah doesn’t change a companies ability to make a good product. Facebook continues to get worse and worse with every change in some ways.Without banging on too much, there are some serious issues with FB and I’m here to find out ways to tackle some of these head on. So far I can;t see anything that answers this question – anywhere – about feeds. Why? Aren’t people having the same problems and frustrations?Bit by bit I have had my ability to do something great with FB taken away from me via FB. First it was my personal page (which was great and HAD feeds) because it was not a ‘person’. then my fan page’s ability to interact with the same people in any meaningful way. Bam, nothing and with no recourse. But they still get paid.
