Anyone in the Spiritual/Health Industry… (9 posts)

  • Do you have any secrets on how to get more fans for your fan page? Share them please!!!

  • Post spirituality quotes!

  • Agree with @palavrasdeosho – and also images. Sharing other people’s info is good too. Then watch your insights to see what people respond to and share and post more of those.

I’ve been a pastor for years and read a number of spiritual blogs. The best ones have regular thought-provoking posts that invite participation. Some of them are lists of resources, reviews of books or recordings and others are ramblings on current events or topics. Start providing great content and then find experts in your field that you can shine the light on with interviews or reviews. On my personal blog my most viral posts were when I interviewed someone or reviewed an album.

  • @palavrasdeosho lol, that’s what the Facebook page is… quote from spirit teachers https://www.facebook.com/askterryhall

@phil-mershon I think interviews would be great for this page! Thanks for mentioning them.

  • Hi @amyhallbiz I suggest having a look at http://namastepublishing.com as they have an active Facebook page, as well as blogs, twitter, podcasting and membership site. They use quotes often but also pose questions.

    Cheers,Monique

  • We post our Social Media info on our website, printed material and ask our current supporters to Like us and tell their friends about our page.  As for content we use videos, stories, ask questions and photos.  We have received a great response by just asking.

  • What does your imagination tell you?

If you are going to write content that is similar to everyone else on that niche, how are you going to stand out from the crowd?

Write your truth. Write about your passion. Don’t worry about what other people will think. Pour your heart out into your blog.

Another thing some friends of mine did was create invitation only group on Facebook where leaders in the industry can share ideas and get tips. By creating this and inviting key people to participate, you establish yourself as a resource.

One thing Mike Stelzner taught me is to become an active commenter on the sites where the people you wish to attract hang out. Make thoughtful comments on a regular basis (set aside time at least 2-3 times per/week to do this. People will start to look you up when they see what you’re saying.

One other way to attract people is to run contests. Do something fun that gets people to your page.

Finally, think about hosting a survey upon which you write a report that others will find valuable. Maybe it’s about top 10 spiritual retreat centers in the U.S. or whatever.

    Just some thoughts…
