Want to build a killer app?

You would not believe the trouble I am having finding a decent facebook app developer!

I mean i think someone is playing as joke on me and the worlds in on it!

I have done the India deal and outsourcing overseas with some really horrible experiences and even the best one I had if i was to compare it to service i woulds expect was pathetic.

So bring it back to local in Australia where I’ll pay more but they understand what I’m asking and if they drop the ball I can go around there with my mates who are bikies and say that these guys are interested in learning about the open graph

Well there aren’t that many top notch facebook devs in Australia but enough you’d think!

A few semi dedicated professional firms and then a bunch that say they do apps but they do fan pages and connect it through developers.facebook.com

What a nightmare i have had in my own back yard, it has me totally going WTF????

One top company i met with seemed keen as and now just flat out are impossible to get a hold of! Won’t return calls or emails.

Another company that is really a one man band with a lot of experience and seemed like a great guy spoke to me a few times and I was about to pitch him in 1 hour on skype on the idea, as he was overseas, not only didn’t make it for the call but deleted me as a contact altogether 5 minutes after saying “speak to you in an hour” W.T.F.!!!!!

Other companies would say they did apps and couldn’t even get an ssl certificate or had 31 fans and no landing page on their facebook page!

Now you probably are thinking I was looking for them to invest in it and they didn’t want to…nope!  In fact after asking a couple if they did that I told them that i would pay for the whole thing and i didn’t need them to partner me on the idea (that they didn’t know yet)

So now I’m asking a forum based  in the U.S. where clearly i am going to need to go to get this done right! I didn’t think I’d have to but the world has gone mad and no one wants to make any money over this side….so it seems!

So, anyone a kick ass facebook developer with a good grasp on open graph?

Anyone know one they could hook me up with?

It doesn’t even have a category and I’m not sure how to explain it without giving it up lol!

It’s pretty different but pretty simple. It needs to be able to have someone “like it” and then be able to recognise when they arrive on the app from then on if that makes sense. Apparently that’s all doable??? I wouldn’t know how though???? Or if it is a big deal as i have had mixed reports???
