Advertising in FB pages (2 posts)

  • I know about several Facebook pages with popular topics (dogs, music, news, entertainment) that are dedicated to gather followers. Once with a large fan base, the start selling advertising through posts on their pages.

My question is: what is an acceptable average number of fans of a FB page so they can be considered for selling advertising?

For example if you are the owner of a music instrument store, and a local music FB page offer you advertising by making posts. what would be a reasonable database fan number that is worth spending money.

  • Super cheap. I don’t think the quantity matters as much as the CPM and the quality. I would be careful to (at least try) to check that the users are real accounts and not bots. Also as many folks on here are seeing page posts are getting hidden a lot.

In any case I would definitely haggle.
