A great tool to keep track of facebook and other profiles (22 posts)

  • Time management is something we face everyday and keeping track of our social profiles and what is going on with social media each day can be taxing at the best of times.

MarketMeSuite has done something remarkable recently they have made their suite freely available to users.

Consider using this tool to help manage accounts like LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook with one platform.

Its just my opinion as a active user of this application it has saved me countless hours of logging in and out of profiles to post and read posts and track what others are saying about yourself or your company assets online.

I consider it a recommended tool in your social media tool set.

Try it out and see for yourself.

  • Hi @brianmcf – Marketmesuite ooks interesting.  How would you compare it to Hootsuite or Tweetdeck?  I bookmarked it to try it out later this month.  (followed you on Twitter, too).

    Welcome to the group.

    Susan

  • Hootsuite is a paid tool. You can find all the same features in MarketMeSuite. Tweetdeck has less features than both Hootsuite & MMS. The objective here is to use the right tool for your specific needs and not to rely on the “next shiny object syndrome”. If you are using hootsuite now stick with it if it meeting all your needs, if not have a look at MMS. Cheers Brian

  • @brianmcf: Thanks for sharing dude! Sounds interesting and will definitely have to look into this!

  • Thanks for sharing @brianmcf

I was recently talking about HootSuite and I wanted to know about other similar tools. Is it possible to make scheduled facebook posts with MarketMeSuite?
Thanks again and i will give it a try soon.

  • Yes Fernando, It is possible to schedule your tweets & facebook stuff.cheersBrian

  • @brianmcf They should make it for iPad :) I hardly use a computer anymore But I will try it on computer to check it out. I can’t see myself actually using it on a computer but if they had an app I’d definitely download it without hesitation.

  • If you’re wanting to schedule updates on Facebook, the best option I’ve found so far is Post Planner. They have a white label version of their app so rather than saying “posted via Hootsuite” it says “posted via [yourbrand]“. Engagement levels plummet on Facebook with automated software so if you can keep that third party brand name off your page you’ll do 10x better.

  • The best tool to organize and grow your social media presence, hands down is XeeMe. See my profile here http://j.mp/An3mzq

  • Thanks, @Valissa. I didn’t know that!

  • @violamyers~ I just looked at XeeMe.  Well, I ended up registering, but it didn’t look like I could post to all the Facebook pages that I run directly from my profile.  Am I mistaken there?

  • It is not for content aggregation. It is for social media profile organization. It allows people to find your social presence in one location.# http://j.mp/An3mzq

  • I’m using BufferApp for Twitter set-up and scheduling. It does not throw a “posted-by” up on Twitter, but does on Facebook…so have not been using it there.

I’ve been looking at http://www.postplanner.com, which also allows for white label posting. But I’m still considering it.

  • I use hootsuite for my page, Facebook.com/fbsmarty and for several clients. I feel it is important to post several times a day. I know about the fact that it used to hurt your edge rank but do not feel that is as serious now. My page gets lots of engagement and that is what matters. Of course I respond to questions ASAP.I pay $5 a month and have not found a tool I prefer.Won’t it be wonderful when Google+ finally allows scheduled postings!

  • I love all of the managing tools but what I really need is something that can easily store all of my social media activity and later allow me to search through it by keyword. Does something like that exist? Maybe lots of things like that exist and I am behind? We are a small company with only 3 properties to track (YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook) so it has to be affordable. Thanks for the help!

  • I just signed up for MarketMeSuite, but dang it all, I can’t get the thing to let me post to my pages :(

  • I can’t either Dedi. Let me know if you figure that out.

  • I can’t either Dedi. Let me know if you figure that out.

  • Hootsuite is my go to.  Love it.

  • I’ve had a lot of trouble finding a good Facebook scheduler. Honestly, I don’t think it has to do with the tool as much as Facebook making it difficult to do anything but post directly. I’ve used Hootsuite and it’s very temperamental – posts don’t go out, can’t pull meta data for previews, etc. I’ve used Sprout Social and had trouble with how posts appear. Whenever you talk to their support they always say it’s a Facebook problem. I looked into Post Planner, too, haven’t tried it yet but I understand that’s the only one that doesn’t get “demoted” by Facebook because it’s white label.

  • I agree @Michelle Fontaine  Hootsuite will be perfect once they give us Google+ access!
