Hello All,I was under the impression that Facebook did away with the need for 25 fans in order to change the page URL. I have a new client which I have created 2 Facebook pages for. Each page is for a different business. I just changed one of the page’s URLs with no problem. When I came to the other page, I see the old message from Facebook asking for 25 fans. Their help section doesn’t even mention the 25 fan requirement. Does anyone have any information on this or is it occurring to you? Both pages are not published yet so I cannot share the pages yet. 

Both pages are “local businesses” and are in the VRBO (Vacation Rentals by Owner) market.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

@jamesalonso I believe this is no more needed now, when i created pages for two of my clients couple weeks ago, i was offered to choose the url at the time of page creation (with not a single like!) that sounds strange but true. @jamesalonso  I just created a page for a local business last night. It asked me to create a vanity url when I created the page.  It maybe something to do with the type of pages you set up?

@andrea-vahl Thank you. I created the page last week so I assume the new rules should have been in effect. Again, thanks for your help.
