wordpress help???? menu/pages (7 posts)

Topic tags: menus, Wordpress
  • I am trying to set up a menu (I think) on my blog so I can put different subjects under different places. Does anyone know how to do this? Or, is this how I accomplish what I’m trying to do? I have some blogs about a 6 week world trip and some with recipes and these need to be separated so they are easier to find.

  • @deairby Hope I get your message correct, if not, then forgot what I said here – go to the Category section, and create the Parent Menu from there, then create some ‘Sub-Menu/Category’ (you can create as many as you want, it depends on your subject & topic) under the ‘Parent Menu’, after that, move your older post into each suitable menu …

Also check out these resources too :-)

  • @annliu thank you so much, Ann, I’ll try that right now

  • @annliu Ok, I think I did it. Thanks, Ann. If you want to check it to see, here’s the link: The Baron York

  • @deairby Pleasure, I checked it, well done :-) … also, I saw your blog is sitting on wordpress.com, because it is free, I think there are limitation on how much you can change, add or etc, of course, it depends on oneself’s need .. if you have time, this is a good article to read in regards to the blogging platform.

  • @deairby Looks like you might have already had your problem solved, but if not, you can also try the WordPress menu settings under the Appearances section of your dashboard.
