WordPress: Anyone else have problems with the Sociable plugin (3 posts)

    The reason I posted about the JetPack the other day was I was finding alternatives for Sociable.  I have been contacted by a few followers lately saying their coach told them to install Sociable…however its not working. I even went in and tried to look at the settings and they seemed fine, but the social icons did not appear at the bottom of their posts. This was just not for one person, but several. So I told them that I would help them put the Jetpack on their site as I like the share plugin there. 

    Share-a-holic is another popular one, so I recommend either that or JetPack share plugin. 

    So I just wanted to know if any of you use Sociable.http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/sociable/

    And if you are experiencing any problems lately…or if you have any tips on making it work correctly…or if I should just tell people to use something else.

    Hi Heather, I have stopped using sociable.Not sure about the issues you are having. The problem I am having with sociable for a while now is that after some updates, all the buttons were below the post. You had to go back in and adjust the settings again to only show the buttons you want. Doing that for all your clients sites? Remembering which buttons you were showing before the update for each site? So I stick to Digg Digg (top), Like (show faces) and JetPack (end)
