Who are some of your Blogging heros? (10 posts)

Topic tags: Blog experts
  • Who do you consider to be the best blogger for you industry, niche, or community? Who are some people that you think really stand out?

    ( someone other than Chris Brogan, Seth Godin, or  Darren Rowse. These are givens…)

  • good one I look forward to seeing some responses. One of the people I enjoy reading on a regular basis in the specialty coffee arena is a guy named Jason Dominy. He works for Batdorf & Bronson in Atlanta. Here is a link to his blog. He blogs about life, not just coffee though that is a huge part of it. He is really involved in his community yet still posts regularly, he is an absolute trooper.

  • Two of my favorites are Derek Halpern of Social Triggers, and  Nicholas Cardot of Site Sketch 101
    Derek “breaks down psychological research and business case studies into simple, actionable steps that can help you improve your online business.” Every artice has a power takeaway that can apply to many areas of your life, but especially how you manage interactions with leads and customers. He references case studies and research to prove or debunk many popular mindsets about online business.
    Nick Cardot is “a full-time Infantryman in the United States Army and an avid blogger and website developer. [His] site is all about taking you from the beginning stages of web design or blogging and launching you into a realm of professionalism… in a way that is easy to follow along and enjoy.” Though the descripton suggests this site is for beginners, his common sense approach to blogging and webdesign is applicable to all levels. I learn something new every post.

  • Great question  @jasonwiser …So many good ones, so I’ll mention those that I read most in the field of leadership and personal development. I like Kate Nasser (katenasser.com), Bud Bilanich (budbilanich.com), Jim Clemmer (jimclemmer.com) and Josh Linkner (joshlinkner.com)….

  • Great question! My top three lesser known folks would be Denise Brown who leads a great conversation on eldercare and caregiving; Kat Fulton who has a great wellness, drumming and music therapy blog; and Dr. Susan Giurleo who deals with the “intersecting of healthcare, social media, and business.”

  • @jasonwiser Aside from some others already mentioned, I like…

  • @kristi-hines That’s funny because the top article on Think Traffic is about Derek Halpern, One of the two I mentioned.

  • Kristi Hines -  http://kikolani.com/Lori R Taylor -  http://lorirtaylor.com  (I highly suggest her newsletter)Rae Hoffman (SugarRae)  - http://www.sugarrae.com/ (more entertaining in person if you can imagine)

  • Beside what already is mentioned here I get a lot of great value from my friends;

    Josiah Mackenzie at http://www.hotelmarketingstrategies.com/

    Daniel Edward Craig at http://www.danieledwardcraig.com/

    Both provide great and valuable information for my niche.

    Cheers..
