What’s Trending? (3 posts)

  • What’s trending? What about next year? In five years?

  • @atlantarobin You can use Google Insights for Search (http://www.google.com/insights/search/) to see how particular topics have trended from 2004 to the present.  Seeing an increase or decrease can tell you whether something is getting more or less popular.

If you’re looking for today’s trends, you can try Google Trends (http://www.google.com/trends) which tells you what is most searched for right now.

Trendsmap (http://trendsmap.com/) is a neat tool that shows Twitter trends by region.  Hope these help!  :)

Very much, indeed, Kristi. All my links, bookmarks, and sourcing links are on a computer in storage. Having to start over with a new one taxes my memory sometimes. Thanks for these reminders and the Twitter Trendsmap I’d never used before. Will definitely check it out.
