What would you like to find in a social media marketing blog? (9 posts)

  • We are trying to improve our blog (social media marketing oriented), What kind of content do you like to read about social media marketing?

  • @albertmora I think more step by step content would be valuable. A lot of people tell you that you should be doing X, Y, and Z on social media, but they don’t necessarily explain how to get to X, Y, and Z.

  • @kristi-hines

    thx for the answer

  • Well, we see how things are changing rapidly on the social media front. FB is losing the interest of many while other platforms such as Google + is revving up its campaign to take top spot… so I guess we just want a source (a single reliable one) that we can turn to to know where we are now and where we are likely to go. One that tells us pointedly whats in and whats out and maybe why too.

  • @albertmora @kristi-hines

Albert, I’m so glad you asked this question. You’ve got such a great little product to market that could help so many social media professionals and their clients… you’ll really want to put your best effort into a blog and email newsletter to help promote it.

And so glad Kristi Hines chimed in. Albert, you will DEFINITELY want to go check out Kristi’s blog. She is the perfect example of the RIGHT WAY to write articles for the social media crowd — interesting and timely subjects featured in very detailed, useful, and instructional articles, with LOTS of great how-to photos and step-by-step instructions. She writes the kinds of articles that everyone bookmarks as a constant resource. You’ll want to do the same for your companies and projects.

Click on her photo, then click on her blog. There’s no better or more excellent example of writing on, about or for the net you could find. No kidding!

She’s not only a great writer, but a great content curator, too. Follow her example for your marketing strategies and you’ll do great, too!

Hi Robin, Thank you for the comments about  us. I’ll definitely check out Kristi’s blog

  • And keep up with the new platforms – there’s always a newbie out there that needs vetted in terms of how much we should be paying attention – which are viable, which are a waste of time…

  • @sharijstauch @albertmora

Good point, Shari. So many time wasters out there, but so often we can’t really know that for ourselves until we waste our own sweet time finding that out.

But I think Albert’s HiSocial may end up being a real help and timesaver on the social media front, so he definitely should use that aspect to his advantage when marketing it on other platforms.
